President Waithaka Kioni is set to leave his position when the elections are finally held.
Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) elections initially set for 29 October have been postponed.
The executive had called on county-based branches to urgently complete their registration to pave way for national elections.
In their communication to branches two weeks ago, the KVF NEC had advised them not to hold any branch elections arguing that the constitution as amended by the Special General Meeting (SGM) had not been registered.

The NEC further argued that the federation was yet to confirmed the number of county based branches that had been registered with the Registrar of Sports and were in the process of consulting on the way forward.
In their latest communication, KVF have confirmed that the election agenda will be removed from the upcoming AGM.
"The Registrar of Sports through a letter REF No. SR/AR/76(22) stated that they have received applications from 28 clubs/counties as listed below. These applications are in the process of being analyzed. As a result, they are yet to issue Registration Certificates for these County Associations and currently the Federation does not have any registered County Associations.

In addition, the Registrar of Sports advised that with the status of County Associations and the court case against the Federation we should postpone the AGM - Letter Ref No. SR/AR/72 (18)," the KVF statement on the matter reads.
KVF, however, clarified that they had appealed this decision and the Registrar had advised that the AGM may proceed without the agenda of elections.
This is the second time the KVF elections are being halted due to the branch registration issue.
